IBRITISH COUNCIL ISA AWARD
“Dream, Dream, Dream,
Dreams transform into thoughts,
And thoughts result in action.”
We are the proud winners of the British Council ISA Award. Our association with the British Council is a matter of pride for us. British Council projects have helped us specialize in international, cultural and educational opportunities. The British Council which works in over 100 countries has been instrumental in promoting a wider knowledge of the UK and the English language, encouraging cultural, scientific, technological and educational co-operation.
The British Council has helped us in developing the core skills essential for the development of a child’s personality namely –
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Communication and collaboration
- Creativity and imagination
- Digital literacy
- Student leadership and personal development
While working on the British Council assignments students prepared various Interdisciplinary projects under the guidance of their teachers, showcasing their creativity and talent. These collaborative projects were a ready platform for the budding artists and dreamers.
The school was not only granted the ISA certificate but was also awarded with three stars, an icing on the cake.
The Vidyapeeth fraternity through the projects has shown that “Raising children is a creative endeavor, an art rather than a science”, and making dreams come true is their forte.
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
Eleanor Roosevelt
Birla BalikaVidyapeeth believes in giving wings to its girls. How appropriate this legacy is! In ‘The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition’ held in the month of May 2016, four of our students brought laurels to the school by bagging the gold, silver and bronze medals in Senior and Junior categories.
