BET FELICITATES SCHOLASTIC LUMINARIES OF AISSCE AND AISSE EXAMINATIONS 2023 AT BIRLA BALIKA VIDYAPEETH
15 JULY 2023 saw ceremonial felicitation of 55 Scholastic luminaries of the Birla Education Trust, Pilani at the sombre ambience of the Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani auditorium in a nifty function. The awards carried cash incentives, mementos and certificates.
Year in and year after students were awarded cash incentives, mementos and certificate of excellence to motivate them so as to set high standards and push their skills and knowledge in their sphere of excellence.
The inaugural ceremony took off to a solemn start with an invocation to Goddess Saraswati and chanting of the mantras by the students of the School choir. The student- community, School Academia, distinguished members of the Birla Education Trust, and the parents stood tall as they witnessed the prize giving ceremony. It was a defining moment for the recipients of the awards who were torch bearers and brand ambassadors of their respective families and the schools blazing trails of excellence in the educational ecosystem.
The Principal Dr. M. Kasturi in her address to the gathering thanked the visionary leadership of the Director BET, the committed School Academia, and the cooperation of the Parents and students whose consistent support and adaptability to the winds of changes have paved way to the progressive changes. The top scholastic achievers in Science, Commerce and Humanities in the class XII AISSCE Examination 2023 received awards of honor in recognition of their proficiency in English Core and the best 4 optional subjects where they secured the highest marks. The Toppers of class X AISSE in the echelons of their ranks were awarded for their academic excellence as well.
The highlights of the award ceremony are as follows:
In the Science stream, AISSCE Exams Class XII, Manya Varshney of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani topped with 99% aggregate.
The Toppers of class X who were feted were Ira Choudhary who notched 97.8% aggregate, followed by Vanshika Singh 96.4% aggregate and Yashvi Shekhawat with 96.4%. 4 students each from Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Birla Shishu Vihar, Birla Public School, Pilani and Birla Public School Kishangarh were awarded cash prizes, mementos and certificates for their commendable academic performance. The other toppers four from each School were honored with cash prizes and certificates.
Special cash incentive awards, instituted in the memory of Late Dr Suman Kapur, Head of the Dept. Biotechnology, BITS, Pilani and an Educator par excellence were given away to the individual subject toppers for their proficiency in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English, Economics & PCM Topper, PCB Topper, Commerce Topper, Humanities Topper and Overall Topper. 8 students from various BET schools received the awards.
The Toppers expressed their gratitude to their mentors, teachers, parents and Principals, the School management and the school fraternity for their poignant experiences during their journey in the quest for excellence. The parents too expressed their gratitude to the school leadership, Teachers and various functionaries for their success.
The finale to the scholars spangled evening were inspiring speeches by the team of Principals and The Director, Birla Education Trust who congratulated the awardees for their achievements and the meritorious teachers for their dedication to their profession.
