Birla Balika Vidyapeeth students excelled at BKBIET Scientific Model Competition -2024
At the Scientific Model Competition organized by BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology on 24/01/2024, three teams from Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani secured victory with their innovative projects.
The triumphant teams, recognized for their exceptional work, included Skin Cancer Detection using AI (Agamya Misra, Samiksha Tiga, Pragati, Manasvi Shekhawat) Mentor Mr Shobhit Daga, Yoga Pose Detection by AI(Rena Manish Mathew, Ridhima Sharma, Priyanshi Rathi, Pragya, Divyanshi Gupta) mentor Mrs Ruchi and Smart Safety (Aaditri Saraf, Geetika Raghav) mentor Mrs Kanchan Saini. Each student from these teams received a cash prize of Rs 1100 for their noteworthy contributions.
Other projects that got noteworthy attention were AgroTrain(Shagun, Rashi) and Sound Energy Convertor (Manya Garg, Hetal). The mentors, Mrs. Kanchan Saini, Mrs. Ruchi, Dr. Nima Joseph, Mr. Shobhit Daga, and Mrs. Deepika Singh, played a crucial role in guiding the students.
The Director of BKBIET, along with other dignitaries, commended the students for their outstanding ideas and the meticulous execution of their models. Principal Dr. M. Kasturi extended warm congratulations, acknowledging the students' dedication and creativity.
