Mother’s Day Celebration 2024
Jubilant Mother’s Day Celebration at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth on 11th May 2024
“A Mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take”
Birla Balika Vidyapeeth celebrated the special occasion ‘To My Mother, in Gratitude’ on 11th of May 2024. A host of performances were planned to honor and appreciate all mothers. The Principal, Dr. M. Kasturi addressed the parents and the students emphasizing that Mother’s Day is a special day, for all children and mothers as, it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who have the magic touch to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful. The school felicitated the mothers bouquet and mementos. Felicitation was also extended to the teachers and hostel staff, the mothers on role away from home for their untirable, round the clock services to the wards.
The Ramp walk of the mothers was of paramount focus as the beautiful moms mesmerized the audience with their confident performance.
The audience was entertained by myriad presentations by the students of classes 5 to 8. Songs, dance performances, story enactments and some memorable performances simply mesmerized the audience, as the children put their best foot forward. All performances exalted the mother as God, teacher, friend, philosopher and guide and emphasized the truth that a mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world.
The video compilations were displayed comprising of BBVP fraternity and the mothers of our students. Loving cards and mementos by the students, for their mothers were also displayed as collage to extend their overwhelming love for their mothers. The day ended with all teachers, parents and children, enjoying themselves and taking back fond memories of a day well spent.
