Victory unleashed yet again by Birla Balika Vidyapeeth at interschool BET Athletic championship 2024

On 14th November 2024, the three-day BET Interschool Athletic Championship 2024 commenced at the sports ground of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani. 270 students from Pilani schools under the aegis of Birla Education Trust participated in different age groups Under 14, Under 17, Under 19 with great excitement and zest. The Valedictory ceremony was held on 16th November 2024. The chief guest of the ceremony was Maj. Gen. S.S. Nair, AVSM (Retd.), Director BET. The events were graced by Dr. M. Kasturi, School Manager. Principal of Birla School, Pilani Mr. Dhirendra Singh and Principal of Birla Public School Mrs. Kajal Marwah were present as special guests. In-charge Principal Mrs. Achala Verma welcomed the guests. Chief guest in his address reiterated the objective of this championship and motivated all participants to give their best. It was a splendid display of athleticism and sportsmanship with an action-packed lineup of track and field events. Birla Balika Vidyapeeth maintained their supremacy securing overall first position throughout the three-day competition which included various athletic events such as 800 meters race, long jump, shot put, discus throw, 100 meters,400 meters races, javelin throw, Relay races in various categories. The winners were felicitated and applauded for displaying genuine spirit and zeal throughout.
