The school dining hall is an expansive, well-ventilated room fitted with large dining tables and chairs and can serve nearly 850 individuals at a time. The fully vegetarian mess runs on precise schedule. The mess is serviced by a modern and hygienic kitchen. It is standardized and follows best global practices. The school does not permit junk food and aerated soft drinks inside the mess.

A lot of care has gone into the framing of the menu . True to the ethos of the founders’ beliefs, we have set up a clean, well equipped kitchen that serves pure vegetarian food. The faculty dines at lunch with the students while the hostel staff keep them company for all other meals. The meals here are closer to the taste of home. Our student food advisors, Doctor, Home Science teacher and the Mess Manager along-with the Principal Bursar and Senior faculty members make the menu. 75 years of catering to teens have made us experts in creating a kitchen and delicacies which will weed out most of the problems that a fast diet of junk food may have resulted in. The food is a strong recommendation for appreciating life at Vidyapeeth.
