BBV organises Experiential Learning Session for Students on Font and Character Design

On October 6th 2023, Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani, had the privilege of hosting distinguished educators from the renowned World University of Design, Sonipat. Professor Astha Deshpande, Assistant Professor Ruchin Soni, and Mr. Sandeep Barua conducted an engaging session on Art and Design Creativity, inspiring students with their expertise and insights.
The session delved into various aspects of the creative realm. Mr. Sandeep Barua shared valuable insights on Career Prospects in Design, enlightening students about the vast opportunities within the field. Professor Astha Deshpande captivated the audience with a detailed exploration of Designing Font Styles, showcasing the intricacies of typographic creativity. Assistant Professor Ruchin Soni skillfully guided students through the art of Character Sketching, emphasizing the importance of expressive visuals in design.
The students of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth were enthralled and inspired, gaining valuable knowledge and motivation to pursue their creative passions. The event marked a significant step towards nurturing the artistic talents of the future generation. Principal Dr. M. Kasturi expressed her delight and emphasized on the need of Design Thinking as it broaden the students' horizons and motivates them to excel in their creative endeavors.
