Birla Balika Vidyapeeth Hosts Inter-School B.E.T. Pentangular Meet: A Meaningful Effort to Enhance Creativity and Language Skills
On July 27, 2024, Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani, under the aegis of Birla Education Trust, Pilani, organized the Season 4, Episode 1 of the Inter-School English Pentangular Meet. The chief guest, Major General S.S. Nair, Director of Birla Education Trust, inaugurated the event. The principal of the school, Dr. M. Kasturi, welcomed all the guests.
In his address, the chief guest emphasized the importance of such activities in enhancing language skills among students. He encouraged students to participate in these events not just as competitions but as educational activities aimed at developing their expression skills, creativity, logical thinking, and writing skills.
Birla Education Trust has been organizing this event for the past eight years, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents, build confidence, and learn from each other. This year, over 500 students from seven schools participated in various activities like poetry recitation, storytelling, listening skills, role-playing, extempore speech, group discussion, and essay writing.
The chief guest awarded prizes to the winners and appreciated the efforts of all participants, organizers, and schools involved in making the event successful.
The program was attended by dignitaries, including the Legal Officer Mr. Kapil Sharma, Principals of various Birla schools, teachers, students, and other prominent personalities. The convenors of the program were Ms. Vipasha Speak and Mrs. Nisha Pareek.
