From Ideas to Impact: BBV & PIEDS, BITS, Pilani organise Studentpreneur 2025
Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani, in collaboration with PIEDS, BITS Pilani, hosted the “Studentpreneur” – 5 Days Entrepreneurship Bootcamp from April 17 to April 21, 2025, at the BBV Auditorium. This insightful initiative offered students a practical introduction to the world of startups and innovation.
With the participation of over 50 students, the bootcamp guided them through the fundamentals of entrepreneurship — from identifying real-world problems to devising impactful solutions. They learned how to prepare a project deck, formulate a problem statement, and estimate market sizes such as TAM (Total Addressable Market), SAM (Serviceable Available Market), and SOM (Serviceable Obtainable Market).
The event concluded with a Demo Day, where 13 teams pitched their innovative ideas in front of the PIEDS team from BITS Pilani. The energy and creativity displayed by the students were truly commendable.
The results were as follows:
Dr. M. Kasturi, School Manager, inspired the participants with her encouraging words, while Mrs. Achala Verma, Incharge Principal, appreciated the budding innovators for their energetic involvement.
The event was successfully coordinated by Mrs. Anju Dogra, Ms. Prerna, Mr. Shobhit Daga, and Mr. Arvind Nehra, whose efforts ensured a seamless and enriching experience for all.
