Birla Balika Vidyapeeth Celebrates Rabindra Jayanti on 8th May 2024
"Where the mind is without fear, and the head is held high." With the echoing of this ethos, students and faculty members of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth celebrated the 163rd Birth Anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore with vigour and enthusiasm. On this noble occasion, an inter-house lyrical Dance-drama competition, "Riturang_- Symphony of Seasons," was organised.
Each house showcased vibrant & innovative performances on the different seasons with exotic hue and beauty that enlightened the minds of our dear students and touched their souls.
This was followed by a collage of poems from Tagore's 'Gitanjali' and a medley of Rabindra sangeet from 'Gitobitaan'. Principal Dr. M. Kasturi, encouraged the students and motivated all to follow the values imbibed in each of the creations of the great 'Bengal Bard'. She appreciated the students and teacher incharges for recreating a feel of Bengal in the school.
