Candlelight 2025-26 at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth was not just a farewell programme, it was an evening filled with emotions, gratitude, and quiet goodbyes. As students of Class XI, hosting this event for our Class XII seniors was an honour and a moment we will always remember.
The programme began with a warm welcome address by the comperes, as we greeted our respected Principal Ma’am, Dean Academic, Chief Warden, teachers, house mothers, matrons, academic coordinators, and dear students. Standing on stage, looking at our seniors seated before us, we realized how quickly time had passed. The people we once looked up to as seniors were now ready to step into the world beyond school.
The Lighting of the Lamp Ceremony marked a sacred beginning to the evening. As the Principal Ma’am, Dean Academics, Chief Warden, House Mothers, and academic coordinators lit the lamp, the soft glow filled the hall with hope and warmth. The lamp symbolised knowledge, wisdom, and guidance, values our seniors carried and passed on to us. It felt like a silent blessing for their future journeys.
The Welcome Address by Principal Ma’am deeply moved everyone present. Her words reminded our seniors that while they may leave the campus, they will never leave the heart of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth. As juniors, her message reassured us that this bond between students and the school is eternal.
The most awaited and emotional moment of the evening was the Ramp Walk. Watching our seniors walk with grace, confidence, and pride filled us with admiration. Each step reflected their journey, from uncertain beginnings to strong, confident individuals shaped by values of integrity, compassion, and perseverance. For us, it was inspiring and bittersweet, knowing that these familiar faces would soon no longer walk the same corridors.
During the ceremony, special titles were awarded to recognise individuality and excellence. Kaushi Pal was honoured with the title of Miss Intellectual for her academic brilliance, while Diksha Bishnoi was crowned Miss Candlelight, a title that truly reflected her presence and grace. The presentation of rose buds was a small gesture, but it carried our immense love, respect, and gratitude for our seniors.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Chief Warden Mrs. Renu Dubey, leaving the hall filled with pride, emotions, and unspoken goodbyes.
For us, the students of Class XI, Candlelight 2025–26 was a reminder of the legacy our seniors leave behind, the confidence they showed us, the paths they paved, and the standards they set. Saying goodbye was not easy, but it was filled with hope.
As our seniors step into a new chapter of life, we wish them courage, success, and happiness. You may be leaving the school, but your stories, laughter, and guidance will always remain with us.
With love and gratitude,
Class XI
