


Bootcamp was aimed to introduce young minds to the world of entrepreneurship, intellectual property rights (IPR), and innovation through engaging workshops, interactive sessions, and real-life startup exposure.
Day 1: Exploring Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Rights
SESSION I Topic: Evangelizing Entrepreneurship among Students
The session began with an inspiring talk on how entrepreneurship can start at a young age. Students learned about the importance of identifying problems in society and thinking creatively to find solutions. Several examples of young entrepreneurs were shared to spark motivation. It was followed by a lecture on IPR.
Session II Topic: Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
This hands-on session introduced students to the concept of IPR, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and design rights. The facilitators explained how protecting oneโs ideas is crucial in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Session III Topic: Funding Schemes for BBVP Students in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.Students were introduced to various government and institutional funding programs such as Startup India, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), and others. The session provided valuable information on how students can turn ideas into viable projects with proper guidance and support.
Session IV Topic: Visit to Incubation Centre
Students of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth visited the BITS Pilani Incubation Centre, where they interacted with real startup founders and mentors. They witnessed live projects and understood the journey from identifying a problem to building a solution and eventually launching a product. This interaction was highly engaging and sparked curiosity among the students.
DAY 2 Building Ideas and Pitching
SESSION 1
Topic 1: Digital Marketing This session introduced students to the basics of online marketing. Key concepts such as social media marketing, content creation, branding, and audience engagement were discussed. Students learned how startups promote their products and build an online presence.
Topic: Business Model Canvas Students were taught how to plan and visualize a business idea using the Business Model Canvas. In groups, they developed their own mini-business models by identifying customers, value propositions, revenue streams, and resources.
SESSION II
Pitching Sessions and Prize Distribution
Students of BBVP presented their business ideas in front of mentors and faculty. Each group was evaluated on innovation, feasibility, and clarity of thought. The pitching session concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the best teams were recognized for their creativity and presentation skills.
Outcomes of the Bootcamp
Birla Balika Vidyapeeth Students gained practical knowledge about entrepreneurship, innovation, and IPR. Improved critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Exposure to real startup culture through interaction at the Incubation Centre.
