When I first entered Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani on 31st March 2025, my heart was racing as it was my first time leaving my hometown, Sikkim, to experience a completely new environment. I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness while thinking about the new faces and challenges I was going to face.
Adjusting to the school environment was overwhelming at first. Seeing so many new faces scared me; however, the people here were very welcoming. I got the opportunity to meet students from different parts of the country, and learning about their cultures was truly interesting. The teachers were always ready to solve all our problems, which made settling in much easier.
The school has also made things convenient for our parents by ensuring safe travel. We were picked up from our hometowns and travelled to the school campus with our teacher in-charge and friends, which made the journey comfortable and secure.
Birla Balika Vidyapeeth has given us immense exposure to extracurricular activities through competitions on platforms such as SGFI Nationals, IPSC, CBSE, and many more. Webinars and seminars are conducted frequently, helping us gain knowledge through informative and engaging sessions.
All in all, my boarding school experience at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth has been very pleasant, enriching, and full of adventure. This new chapter away from home has helped me grow more confident, independent, and open to new experiences.
