Fostering Future Innovators: BBV Emerges Runner-Up in BITS Pilani Pitching Contest

Birla Balika Vidyapeeth (BBV), Pilani, added another feather to its cap by emerging as the First Runner-Up in the Innovative Idea Pitching Competition on “Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Fundamentals of IPR,” organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), BITS Pilani.

The competition was part of a dynamic two-day Bootcamp on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) held at BITS Pilani on 31 August and 1 September. The program offered students deep immersion into creative problem-solving, design thinking, and the essentials of IPR through expert-led interactive sessions and hands-on pitching rounds.

Presenting with clarity and conviction, the BBV team articulated a compelling, practical solution to a real-world problem. Their structured approach, viable prototype thinking, and confident defense during the Q&A session earned high praise from the jury, securing them the coveted Runner-Up honor among competitive school teams.

This milestone underscores BBV’s ongoing mission to cultivate critical thinking, scientific temper, and entrepreneurial acumen among its students. Principal, faculty, and students extended their heartfelt congratulations to the achievers for bringing laurels to the institution.
