It is a matter of immense pride for Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani that Class XI student Saanvi Roy brought laurels to the school at the Youth Conclave 2026, held at Sawai Mansingh Vidyalaya (SMSV), Jaipur.
Two students of BBVP, Prisha Patel and Saanvi Roy, participated in the conclave and showcased their knowledge, confidence and debating skills on contemporary political issues. Prisha Patel presented her views on “UNO has outlived its relevance” in the prelims.
Saanvi Roy impressed the jury through all stages of the competition. She spoke on “Criticism of an act of the government is not against the government” in the prelims, “Chauvinism of big powers and chivalry of modest countries” in the semi-finals, and “New terminology in present politics” in the finals.
Saanvi secured a place among the Top 10 participants out of 70 participants from across India and was also honoured with the prestigious “Most Impactful Thought Provoker” award among participants from 32 schools.
Principal Mrs Achala Verma extended her heartfelt congratulations to Saanvi Roy, Prisha Patel and mentor Dr. Vandana Tiwari & Dr. Sandhya Vyas HOD Social Science for their commendable performance and appreciated their dedication, preparation and outstanding representation of BBVP at the national-level conclave.
The achievement is a proud moment for the entire Birla Balika Vidyapeeth Pilani family and reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing confident, articulate and socially aware young leaders.
