Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani continues to script a remarkable legacy of innovation and excellence at Young Scientist India 2025, proudly marking its third consecutive year as a Top Champion in India—a testament to its unwavering commitment to nurturing young scientific minds.

The Grand Finale, powered by Space Kids India in association with the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, witnessed the presentation of 173 elite projects shortlisted from over 1300 abstracts. Amidst this national confluence of ideas, BBV stood tall with 11 National Level Finalists, each honored with a Finalist Trophy and Certificate.


Shining among the brightest innovators, Nitya Joshi (XI), Rashmi Sinha (XII), and Shagun Kesarwani (XII) earned their place among the Top 9 Innovators in India (Private School Category), receiving Gold Medals and Certificates of Achievement. Adding another feather to the cap, Shagun Kesarwani (XII) was awarded the prestigious Runner-Up Trophy at YSI 2025.


Behind this stellar achievement stands the unwavering support of BBV’s visionary mentors—Mr. Shobhit Daga (PGT Computer Science), Mrs. Anita Mishra (HoD Sciences), Dr. Sandhya Vyas (HoD Social Science), Mr. Arvind Nehra (PGT Physics), and Dr. Nima Joseph (TGT Science)—whose dedication, insight, and encouragement transformed ideas into impactful innovations.Their success was further strengthened by dedicated mentorship—Shagun Kesarwani under the guidance of Mr. Arvind Nehra (PGT Physics), Rashmi Sinha mentored by Mrs. Anita Mishra (HoD Sciences), and Nitya Joshi guided by Dr. Sandhya Vyas (HoD Social Science),
The accolades were conferred by Dr. Prakasha Rao, Former Director, SIPO, ISRO-HQ and IN-SPACe, adding prestige to this proud moment.
