Birla Balika Vidyapeeth Celebrated Ambedkar Jyanti (2026)

Birla Balika Vidyapeeth reverently celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and a visionary advocate of social justice and equality.

The programme was organized by the Social Science Department through a special assembly under the guidance of Dr. Sandhya Vyas.
The celebration commenced with a floral tribute offered by the Principal Mrs. Achala Verma along with coordinators, staff members, and students, expressing deep respect for Dr. Ambedkarโ€™s invaluable contributions.

The occasion fostered a reflective atmosphere centred on the ideals of liberty, equality, and fraternity. A key highlight of the assembly was an engaging role play depicting the drafting of the Constitution, effectively illustrating the functioning of the Constituent Assembly and Dr. Ambedkarโ€™s pivotal role.

Students also presented colourful placards showcasing his teachings and contributions, reinforcing the values of social justice and democratic responsibility. In her address, the Principal emphasized the relevance of Dr. Ambedkarโ€™s teachings in contemporary times, urging students to imbibe constitutional values and strive towards an inclusive and just society.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, serving as a meaningful tribute and an enriching learning experience for the entire school community.
